Winter is here!

...or at least it is trying to snow....

Elijah is now three months old and cuter than ever! We love to see his smiles and we are finding new ways to get him to laugh everyday :) This week Davey started his new job on campus, he likes it a lot better than the grocery store ;) Traci is still babysitting kids and has a new calling as the RS secretary and chorister. Busy busy busy! We love you!

This week in history...

This last week in history in the year 2010 Davey and Traci spent a lot time working and doing homework but we did get to have fun. We went down to Beluga point which is about 15 minutes south of Anchorage to see if we could see any whales but we didn't. I guess they are still kicking around but there are not as many as a month ago.

Fall in is in the air

Beluga Point

We went for a drive around Eagle River and found this lot for sell. Anyone want it?

Lovin' our new home!

We are all moved into our new apartment and loving living here in Alaska. Although it has been rainy most of the time we have been here, the temperature is just right (60s) for Traci who doesn't like the high heat of the summer :) We love all the trees and mountains and we are excited to get a state park pass so we can start hiking all the beautiful trails in the parks around us!
Both of us have started classes which are keeping us busy, Davey at UAA and Traci online for USU. Davey started a job at the local grocery store but was just offered a better position for a job on campus so he has already given his two weeks notice to his first job, hopefully he enjoys this job more.... Traci, meanwhile, spends two long days a week babysitting for some friends. The kids are ages 2 and 3 so she has her hands really busy on those days keeping up with three young kids.
Elijah is doing well, he is growing everyday! Right now he is trying to learn to laugh, roll over, sit up, and grab things with his hands :) He loves to take baths and is often found sucking on his hands and making sing-song noises.
